Meet the Team that Fuels Business Growth

Joe Leonard is one of the founding Members of Oakmont Capital Services. His primary function is to oversee Oakmont's strategic direction, ensuring its sustained growth and maintaining the industry's highest ethical and performance standards. After graduating from Penn State University, Joe has had an extensive and varied business experience ranging from commercial financing to consumable goods and services. In addition to Oakmont Capital Services, Joe has founded and operated several companies, including a bauxite mine, a packaging company, and a spring water bottling company.   

Joe has been an active member of the equipment finance industry for over 25 years and is passionate about giving back. He is a hands-on member of the Certified Lease and Finance Professional (CLFP) Foundation, serving on the board since January 2019. In addition, Joe participates with several CLFP Committees and has served as an instructor for the CLFP exam. He was also a former National Equipment Finance Association (NEFA) board member, with tenure from October 2016 to June 2018. 

Daryn Lecy is a veteran industry executive with extensive operational and management experience. Daryn brings to Oakmont the experience of helping lead the growth of a $140MM portfolio to $1.2B while partnering to manage over 150 employees. Daryn has experience in strategic planning, credit, business development, creative and customized financing programs, syndications, third-party funding relationships, technology initiatives, employee management, and development. Daryn recently served as President for The National Equipment Finance Association (2019-2020) and currently serves as Immediate Past President (2020-2021).  He most enjoys working alongside a great team of dedicated employees and a dynamic leadership team at Oakmont Capital Services.  

Megan Zoba is one of the founding Members of Oakmont Capital Services. She has served the equipment financing and leasing industry since 1991 and oversees the day to day back office (credit, documentation, and funding) operations of Oakmont Capital Services. As VP Docs & Funding, Megan is an active participant in setting and administering tactical and strategic goals for the company. Megan’s extensive experience in managing the back-office functions has proven critical to Oakmont’s continued success. 

George Krusen joined Oakmont Capital Services in January of 2023 as the Chief Financial Officer. George is a highly accomplished, results-driven, a seasoned financial executive with extensive and progressive experience in accounting, finance, and operations management. George has spent over 20 years in the leasing industry in various financial leadership positions. In addition to leasing, he has experience in other industries, including credit card, software, biotech, and manufacturing. He has worked for Fortune 100 companies and start-up companies, both publicly traded and privately held. George brings to Oakmont a focus on digital transformation of the financial and operational functions to ensure the integrity of the financial results and to drive business results. In addition to George’s accounting, reporting, and controls background, he brings a strong financial modeling acumen.

George is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. George earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Grove City College and a Masters of Accounting with a concentration on information systems from Virginia Tech.

Jim Peach has over 17 years of experience in the equipment finance industry. Prior to joining Oakmont Capital Services, Jim began his equipment finance career with a Minnesota-based bank as an account manager. He held many roles with increasing responsibility throughout his tenure, including client relations, business development, third-party origination, equipment valuations, off-lease equipment sales, and VP/ Sales Manager. At Oakmont, Jim leads the sales team to deliver an excellent customer experience and oversees the marketing strategy to ensure alignment with business objectives.  

Kayla Perlinger is an experienced equipment finance professional with wide-ranging industry knowledge. Kayla oversees the sell desk at Oakmont Capital Services, establishes new partnerships, and further develops existing syndication relationships. She is also highly active in data analysis, technological initiatives, risk management, and streamlining processes. Kayla graduated from St. Cloud State University in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Economics. As a dedicated participant in the equipment finance industry, she earned her Certified Lease & Finance Professional (CLFP) designation in 2016 and is currently a committee member for the Chris Walker Education Foundation. Kayla is an advocate for self-development, committed to continuing education, and has a strong interest in technological advancements. 

Mikki Henkelman established a career in the equipment leasing and finance industry in 2007. She has experience in numerous industry areas, specializing in underwriting, syndications, and credit risk. At Oakmont Capital Services, Mikki oversees the credit department and assists with process implementation and risk management. Mikki studied Finance at Minnesota State University, Moorhead with a minor in communications, and attained her Certified Lease & Finance Professional (CLFP) designation in 2016. 

Keara M. Piekanski has over 20 years of experience in B2B and B2C marketing, working in both the agency and corporate worlds. She has developed strategic plans, implemented multi-media tactics, and built marketing teams that have driven business growth. Keara joined Oakmont Capital Services in 2018 and oversees the marketing team, driving the strategic marketing vision and spearheading content creation. Active in the equipment finance industry, she serves as Chair of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA) Communications Committee and is a member of the National Equipment Finance Association (NEFA) Marketing Committee. She volunteers with the Certified Lease & Finance Professional (CLFP) Foundation, facilitating ALFP training segments, and is a former member and Chair of the CLFP Marketing Committee. Keara studied Communication at the University of Pittsburgh, graduating Manga Cum Laude, holds an MBA in Marketing and Strategic Management from Villanova University, and obtained a CLFP designation in 2023.

Bill Schmidt joined OCS as the Director of IT in 2021. With over four decades of information technology expertise, he leads the company’s efforts to innovate systems, strategically utilize data, and keep up with the latest trends in the financial and technology fields. Bill graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and later an MBA in Finance from Drexel University. He worked in Aerospace and Steel as a systems engineer prior to starting his own IT Consulting firm. Bill has been a Trustee for the Pennsylvania Institute of Technology since 2018. 

Michael McElroy is an experienced equipment finance professional who joined Oakmont Capital Services in 2018. During his career, Michael has established multiple national manufacturer financing programs and created unique solutions to help vendors sell more equipment. His customers appreciate his commitment to personal service and his desire to form long-term relationships in the industries that he serves. Michael graduated from Saint John’s University with a degree in Economics and holds a Certified Lease & Finance Professional (CLFP) designation. 

D.J. Jackson has been financing capital equipment and projects for clients in the U.S. and abroad for over 10 years. In 2012, D.J. joined Oakmont Capital Services, where he focuses on lending business owners in North America the funds to obtain commercial equipment for their company, achieve greater efficiency, increase utilization, and provide higher levels of service to their clients and partners.

D.J.  graduated from North Carolina’s Elon University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an emphasis in Marketing. He began his career in procurement for a large publicly traded technology supply chain services company. Gaining a cutting-edge understanding of inventory, distribution models, service levels, equipment asset utilization, and business efficiency, D.J. transitioned his prior career experiences into his role as an equipment finance professional. D.J. also holds a Certified Lease & Finance Professional (CLFP) designation.

Elise Linn has 19 years of experience in the equipment finance industry. After graduating from St. Cloud State University with a bachelor’s degree in Finance, she began her equipment finance career. Elise has extensive experience working directly with manufacturers establishing national retail finance programs.  At Oakmont Capital Services, she specializes in partnering with manufacturers and vendors, plus end-user customers, providing an excellent financing experience. Elise has a passion for helping businesses grow by providing top-notch customer service and financing for equipment essential in daily operations. Elise also holds a Certified Lease & Finance Professional (CLFP) designation.

Jen has been a part of the Oakmont Capital Service’s team for over 10 years. Initially, she began as a Data Entry Clerk and progressed from Credit Analyst to Funding Manager. Jen was an integral part of developing and implementing the CRM system, and currently oversees the funding process, checks in docs, communicates with the sales team on funding status, creates funding packages, requests wires, and sends out notifications on prefunded and funded transactions. She also works closely with the document, titling, and insurance teams to ensure the funding process is smooth and complete. Jen has been commissioned a Pennsylvania Notary Public since 2014. In her free time, Jen enjoys spending time with her 2 young children and cheering on the Philadelphia Flyers.

Aaron Dym is a veteran corporate controller with past industry experience in equipment leasing, wholesale distribution, employment contract services, and the design-build industry. Aaron’s core competencies include general financial management, banking and treasury management, strategic planning, benefits negotiation and management, and software and technology implementation. He joined OCS in 2021 and oversees the accounting team. 

Bill Chandlee joined OCS in 2017 and has worked in the financial industry for over 15 years. Formerly a Credit Analyst at Wells Fargo Auto Finance and later transitioning to a specialty in heavy equipment financing, he has experience with numerous facets of credit and financing. Bill’s expertise includes roles as an analyst, admin support, accounts payable, accounts receivable, customer service and collections. Bill studied Business Management at Pennsylvania State University and Strayer University and has been a Pennsylvania Notary Public since 2010. 

Tracey began her career in the leasing industry in 2000 and has worked in a variety of roles. At Oakmont Capital Services she is focused on Documentation, UCC’s and Titling. Tracey has helped facilitate and execute the implementation of many processes including ELT title processing, DocuSign (Electronic Signature), plus created a process to track the unique titling nuances in this industry. Tracey is dedicated to the industry and always looking for opportunities to expand her knowledge. She completed the Dale Carnegie Training Course in 2017 and received the Highest Award for Achievement.

Sarah has worked in the equipment finance industry since 2000 and has a breadth of experience. Her knowledge includes funding, documentation, insurance, titling, customer service, technology updates/enhancements, and operations management. At Oakmont Capital Services, Sarah serves as Customer Service Manager, assisting customers with funding, documentation, and insurance inquiries. 

Clay has been a finance/banking professional since graduating from the University of Minnesota-Morris in 2012. Clay previously worked at an Albany-based banking institution where he started as a credit analyst and advanced to Sr. Credit Analyst, and held a $350K approval limit, among other responsibilities. Most recently, he worked with a community bank as a commercial loan officer, gaining experience with lending, sales, and business development. In 2019, Clay obtained his CLFP certification. 

Tatum Noreen started working in the equipment finance industry in 2015 after graduating from Bemidji State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Tatum began her career as a credit analyst and transitioned into client relations soon after. She became a team leader in the spring of 2018, and in 2019, Tatum obtained her Certified Lease & Finance Professional (CLFP) designation. She joined Oakmont Capital Services as an Inside Sales Representative in 2021.

Tracy Schneider began her career by running her family’s small business in central Minnesota. In 2015, she embarked on her journey in the equipment finance industry, first as a Sales Assistant, and then promoted to a Lead Broker Sales Assistant. At Oakmont Capital Services, Tracy partners with customers and the sales team to ensure a smooth funding process. She handles the documentation and correspondence between customers and vendors while providing excellent customer service. Tracy holds an associate degree in Business Administrations from the Minnesota School of Business, obtained a Certified Lease & Finance Professional (CLFP) designation in 2019, and an ICBA Principles of Banking Certificate in 2020. 

Sara Birr began her career in equipment finance in 2012 as a sales assistant, working closely with customers and the sales departments to ensure a smooth and quick funding process. At Oakmont, Sara continues to provide an excellent customer experience when creating and distributing critical documents to customers.

Trista Stangler joined Oakmont in 2020, focusing on titling and operations. Before joining the team, Trista worked in the equipment finance industry for 7 years. Her background is extensive, having served in various roles, including reception, customer service, accounts receivable, and as a funding specialist. 

Amanda Town supports OCS’ funding department by onboarding and training new team members and overseeing the review of seconding requests. Amanda has nearly two decades of experience with customer service and has been in the financial industry for ten years.

Upon graduating from Elizabethtown College with a bachelor’s degree in history, Amanda worked as a Lead Teller at Wachovia/Wells Fargo and as a Teller Supervisor and Operations Manager with Susquehanna /BB&T Bank. Amanda supported many retail and commercial customers, helping ensure their financial growth and stability.

In 2016, Amanda joined Oakmont Capital Services as a Credit Analyst. Amanda obtained her Certified Lease & Finance Professional (CLFP) designation in 2019.

Jodie Schimek has a background in credit, finance, and accounting. Before joining Oakmont Capital Services, Jodie worked for Northwestern Bank, holding roles as a credit analyst and business banker, and worked as a VF Outdoor staff accountant. At Oakmont, she is part of the credit team, helping review and approve customer deals quickly and efficiently. Jodie graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in finance and a minor in economics. 

Jayme Gerads has a career in the finance industry spanning over 14 years. Throughout these years, he has worked in multiple positions giving him an in-depth understanding of the financing process. Before beginning his career in the finance industry, Jayme worked for an excavating company operating heavy equipment and still possesses a commercial license, which has helped him better relate to and understand his customers’ needs in the construction, agriculture, and trailer industries. Jayme holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Southwest Minnesota State University and earned the Certified Lease & Finance Professional (CLFP) designation in 2020. 

Andrew Halladay has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years, focusing on the equipment finance industry over the past 9 years. Andrew’s career at Oakmont Capital Services has steadily grown to include many industries such as transportation, landscaping, tree care, and construction, where he has built a strong client base across all 50 states. Andrew has immense experience and great insight into all parts of the finance industry, the changing environment, regulations, and current needs of the 21st-century customer, allowing him to better serve Oakmont’s clients and help them build and grow their businesses. Andrew holds a bachelor’s degree from Philadelphia University and a Certified Lease & Finance Professional (CLFP) designation. 

Carrie Jaenicke has worked across various industries, including construction, landscaping, and woodworking, during her career as an equipment finance professional. At Oakmont Capital Services, Carrie focuses on building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with vendors and dealers. She has a deep desire to understand her customers’ needs, offer creative finance options, and make financing possible. Carrie obtained a bachelor’s degree in management from St. Cloud State University. 

Mindy Lund has worked in the financial industry since 2007, focusing on equipment financing since 2011. During this time, Mindy has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience across various industries, including veterinary, optical, construction, agriculture, titled equipment, and more. At Oakmont Capital Services, she builds strong relationships with equipment vendors, manufacturers, and end-users, plus is passionate about providing exemplary customer service. Mindy holds a bachelor’s degree from St. Cloud State University and obtained a Certified Lease & Finance Professional (CLFP) designation in 2019.

Tabitha Renneker has been working in the financial industry since 2012, specializing in medical equipment financing for the past 6 years. She values the relationships built with her customers, vendor partners, and colleagues and enjoys helping end-users obtain the equipment needed to grow their businesses by offering creative financing options. At Oakmont Capital Services, Tabitha will focus on providing excellent customer service while making the entire financing process as seamless as possible for all parties involved.

Chad Primus’ career in the equipment finance and leasing industry spans over 20 years. He specializes in agriculture, vocational and delivery trucks, plus construction equipment. Chad applies the same work ethic and values he learned growing up on a dairy farm in Central Minnesota to being a trusted advisor to his customers and vendors. At Oakmont Capital Services, Chad prides himself on delivering quick, convenient financing with extraordinary personal service. Chad graduated from St. Cloud State University with a bachelor’s degree and obtained a Certified Lease & Finance Professional (CLFP) designation in 2020. 

Molly Sand has been worked in the financial services industry for 17 years and has focused on the equipment finance industry for the past 9 years. She has also gained experience as a teller, insurance agent, and mortgage loan officer during her career. As an equipment finance professional with Oakmont Capital Services, Molly has built vendor and customer relationships in industries including construction, landscaping, tree care, and forestry to help businesses grow. 

Sean Eidle is a dedicated equipment finance professional, joining Oakmont Capital Services in 2014. After graduating from West Chester University with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sean began his career with Oakmont Capital Services. In 2019, he earned the Certified Lease & Finance Professional (CLFP) designation. At Oakmont, Sean works directly with customers and assists other sales personnel with the funding process. He handles the documentation and correspondence between customers and vendors and strives to provide a top-notch experience. 

Brittany has been in the finance industry since she was introduced to it five years ago. She joined OCS in 2024 as a Business Development Officer. Brittany thrives when she works in a fast-paced environment while helping customers grow their business.

Missy Koltes has been working in the equipment finance industry since 2009 and served as a broker supervisor before joining Oakmont Capital Services in 2021. Throughout her career, Missy focused on nurturing third-party referral source relationships. Missy holds a bachelor's degree in finance from St. Cloud State University. She values growing and maintaining relationships with referral partners and finding creative financing solutions for customers. 

Jacki Thielen has been working in the financial sector since 2007. Beginning in client relations, she transitioned to a Sales Assistant and was promoted to Sales Assistant Supervisor.  She attended Concordia College and achieved a Certified Lease & Finance Professional (CLFP) in 2019. 

Kristy Doll began working in the equipment finance industry in 2018 as a Sales Assistant and was quickly promoted to a Client Relations Representative. She joined Oakmont Capital Services in 2021 as a Documentation Specialist and was promoted to Client Account Manager six months later. Kristy has previous experience as an accounting assistant and an Operations Compliance Coordinator. She graduated with a double major in Paralegal and Legal Administrative Assistant from Alexandria Technical College. She is proud of her strong work ethic, hard work, and dedication to her career, which she attributes to growing up on a farm. 

Alicia Moening joined Oakmont Capital Services in 2022 as an Account Manager. She focuses on outreach to current customers: answering questions regarding loans, discussing new financing opportunities, and explaining OCS’ offerings. Alicia graduated from Bemidji State University with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and an emphasis in Finance. She is proud to work for OCS – a company that invests in her success and encourages her overall well-being. 

Paige graduated with a bachelor's degree in business from SCSU Herberger Business School. She has prior banking experience where she learned she enjoys connecting with customers.

Hailey has over 5 years of experience building customer relationships in the equipment finance industry. In 2024, she joined OCS as an Account Manager, applying her expertise in handling various types of client accounts and delivering outstanding service to existing customers. 

Tiffany entered the equipment finance industry in 2013, gaining valuable expertise over the years. With more than 10 years of experience in this field, Tiffany joined OCS in 2024, taking on the role of Account Manager. Tiffany earned her Business Administration degree from Kaplan University. 

Maggie started working in the equipment finance sector in 2016 as a Sales Assistant. In 2018, she was promoted to Lead Sales Assistant, where she focused on the medical industry. In 2019, Maggie obtained a Certified Lease & Finance Professional (CLFP) designation. She also holds an ICBA Principles of Banking Certificate, which she achieved in 2020. Maggie joined OCS in 2022 as Sales Coordinator and will focus on streamlining the funding process for customers. 

Brooke brings a decade of customer service and finance experience to her role with OCS. She will focus on supporting OCS’s current customers and helping them easily plan future purchases.
